Currently, the most commonly used diagnostic techniques frequently do not find tumors until after they are large enough to metastasize to a different location in your body and so are much more hard to take care of. Researchers in the new research partnership will establish advanced nanoparticle technologies for extremely delicate profiling of biomarkers on cancer cells and tissue specimens. The usage of nanotechnology enables researchers to mix traditional pathology and cancer biology with highly sensitive molecular analysis.Copyright 2009 Advisory Board Business and Kaiser Family Foundation.
