AACP to honor UW professor with Volwiler Analysis Achievement Award The American Association of Schools of Pharmacy will honor Sidney D . Nelson, Ph.D., from the University of Washington for his outstanding study and contributions to the field of pharmaceutical sciences. Nelson is dean and professor emeritus in the UW School of Pharmacy. He will have the prestigious Volwiler Analysis Accomplishment Award on July 12 through the Examining Excellence Awards Plenary at the 2011 AACP Annual Getting together with and Seminars in San Antonio, Texas. Personally i think very honored and blessed to be a recipient of this award, said Nelson. It is an honor to become identified by my peers for the scientific analysis accomplishments I’ve made with the help of graduate students, postdoctoral fellows, going to scientists, and research collaborators and mentors in the last 45 years.
